Flowers are seasonal and may be substituted with a close alternative of equal or greater value. The shade of lilac hydrangea may vary.
To enjoy your hydrangeas for longer, follow these simple steps:
• Upon receiving your hydrangeas, cut the stems at a 45° angle right below a “knot” (node) where water uptake is highest.
• Make a 2-3 cm vertical slit up the bottom of each stem to expose more surface area.
• Place the freshly cut stems immediately into a clean vase filled at least halfway with lukewarm water to provide deep hydration pressure.
• Change the water every 1–2 days, thoroughly cleaning the vase each time to stop bacteria.
• Give the stems a fresh trim and split during every water change to clear blocked ends.
• Ensure the flowers are kept cool and positioned out of direct sunlight, away from drafts and ripening fruits.
