Maximise the enjoyment from your flowers
Start with a clean vase. The cleaner your vase, the longer your flowers will last, as bacteria can shorten the life of your flowers. You can even rinse your vase with bleach solution for maximum effect.
Fill the vase just over halfway with cold tap water. Next, add the contents of your flower food sachet. Do remember to do this, as your flower food can significantly increase the life of your flowers.
Now it’s time to add your flowers. First, remove the lower leaves from your flowers so that no leaves will sit in the water. Then cut 2cm off each stem at an angle before placing them in the vase. To prolong the life of your flowers, change the water and cut your flower stems every few days. You can add more flower food each time you refill and change your water.
Keep your flowers out of sunlight and away from the direct air-conditioning path. Doing this will prolong the life of your flowers.
Keep your flowers looking fresh by removing dying flowers. Naturally, some flowers will last longer than others. This way you can enjoy your flowers for longer.
